Too Much Water When Grouting

One of the most frequent issues that CTEF evaluators note when running installer certification testing across the country is the use of too much water when grouting. Whether the grout is mixed too loose, or too much water for washing it, or both, the result is the same: weaker grout that may also exhibit color inconsistency. Admittedly, stiffer grout makes the spreading process more laborious, but the way easier and faster clean up makes it worth it, aside from the denser grout, which is also more stain resistant by the way, that results.
